Situation: Seacoast Media Group [SMG] is a massive printing operation. It is Christmas Eve and every major newspaper in the seacoast area is relying on these printing presses to get their papers out and on the stands in time. A late paper can mean the difference between whether or not a paper will be able to pay its employees and bills, and stay in business. So Christmas Eve when the rhythmic noise generated by the printing presses suddenly stopped and the massive operation was plunged into darkness -SMG Workers scrambled to try and fix the situation.
Back at Artisan our annual Christmas Party was under way when we received a frantic call for help. Everyone here went into action; we knew with the SMG printers down what the impact would be on their business and clients. A specialist team was immediately assembled and sent out by Artisan. The rest of the Artisan team rushed to coordinate outside subs, such as the power company and other needed resources.
Result: We got those presses up and the entire building running. All the newspapers were delivered as scheduled. Seacoast Media Group had dodged a financial mess and where able to keep their reputation intact. It was a late night but all of us at Artisan Electrical Contractor's felt great about supporting our business community.
